There will be a meeting for all 4th and 5th grade students interested in Chorus on
Monday, September 21st after school in Portable 5. The meeting will last from 3:05 to 4:30 p.m.

Students should come prepared to sing a short song such as “Happy Birthday.”
They will sing it by themselves for Dr. Driscoll. Students who can match pitch and sing with
good tone will be invited back to sing as a group on Tuesday, September 22nd. That meeting will also last from 3:05 to 4:30 p.m.

Regular chorus rehearsals will begin on Monday, September 28th. Practice is held EVERY Monday and Tuesday after school until 4:30 p.m. (unless it is a holiday or teacher work day).

Students selected for chorus must maintain good grades in all subjects and have outstanding conduct. They must be present for all rehearsals unless they are absent from school that day.

Students may not leave before the end of rehearsal.

Chorus is free, but students are asked to purchase a chorus t-shirt (approximately $12.50) and keep their music and a pencil in a folder.
